ABOUT LOU READ
Lou has had over 20 years experience working as a professional makeup artist, hair stylist and prop / wardrobe stylist. She had also recently qualified as a level 3 beauty therapist. Lou was runner up for The Clothes Show Makeup Artist of The year for The BBC, since then she has worked with an array of musicians, celebrities and models such as Kate Moss, Anita Pallenberg and Julia Elletera and with advertising, music and fashion photographers such as Liam Kennedy, Graham Tooby, Dylan Collard, Luke Potter, Hal Shinnie, Jaques Gilham, Gavin Cottrell, Luke Mescuilito, Frank Van Delft, Amelia Troubridge and Arta Kane. Clients include Cannon, City Index, Storm London, Garnier, Rimmel London, Pepsi, Boots, Lloyds bank, National Lottery and Halifax to name a few.Lou is available for makeup work in advertising, beauty, fashion, music industry & events. Lou is also keen to work in prop & wardrobe styling for advertising & music promos specialising in vintage and up-cycled materials, she is also interested in cosmetic sales work as a makeup artist and work as a beauty therapist. She is also open to opportunities as stylist in fashion or visual merchandising and work in theatre and t.v.
