ABOUT LOU GRANDA

Lou Granda serves as Chief of Staff at Specialized and M1 Global, bringing more than four decades of experience in security, operations, and loss prevention. He began his career in 1980 in retail loss prevention, holding executive roles at Brooks Brothers and Stern’s Department Stores, advancing to Vice President of Loss Prevention at Brooks Brothers. During this time, he also led the Retail Loss Prevention Association, contributing to the National Retail Federation’s Loss Prevention Advisory Board. Lou joined the organization in 2001 as Vice President of Investigations and quickly advanced to Senior Vice President of Operations. In 2008, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of our parent company, Carrabba Inc, to support new business ventures—where he served as President of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy USA. He returned as Chief Administrative Officer in 2015, was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2019, and now serves as Chief of Staff. A strategic and experienced leader, Lou combines a deep understanding of security and loss prevention, with operational excellence. He is known for building effective teams, and is a key player in Specialized growth initiatives.
