   Manage 1 supervisor and 8 security guards at Costco’s Main East Coast Distribution Center, a 160-acre site with over 1 million square feet of warehouse space. Authorize the entrance and departure of all transportation entering and leaving facility- approximately 500 trucks per day. Authorize the entrance of visitors, employees, management and contractors to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Created guard schedules and was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the site. Trained all new employees on SOP at the site. Supervise the patrol of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security. Collaborate with law enforcement to investigate and solve external theft or fraud cases. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or report damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
