ABOUT LOU-ANN NEEL

Throughout my career, I have always been fortunate to work directly with First Nations communities and our urban organizations. My favorite type of work is to share what I\'ve learned along the way - things like grant writing, project management, community development, and the revitalization of our artistic traditions, our languages, our cultural and heritage practices, and our ways of governing. I maintain my own artistic practice as I carry out the work I do with our communities; it helps to keep me focused, grounded, and most importantly, able to relate and communicate in a way that demonstrates my personal and professional commitment to this work.
