Involved with hiring all of our employees globally. At latest count I have recruited about 95%+ of all of our Engineers and other employees. Linaro has grown to have hundreds of people in twenty+ countries currently. My title is Director,however, I am 100% hands on. This requires me doing all the sourcing, administrative work, interviewing and finalizing all offers of employment with Linaro. Other duties that I have at include all of the USA and Canadian finances, benefits and payroll. Reporting to the COO of a growing company has given me the opportunity to get involved with many other exciting activities at Linaro. These include speaking and other responsibilities at all of our Linaro Connect events. Attending these and other industry events has given me the chance to travel several times to Asia, Europe and other parts of the USA. HR: been a part of HR my whole career. However, for the last 8 years I have served as head of HR for the US and Canada. Still involved heavily with the team in the UK that currently manages HR outside of US and Canada. Start-Ups: I am employee #16 with Linaro and was hired to find and recruit many of the first 15 as a consultant. I started the entire US Corporation for Linaro. Currently deal with all compliance in the various states we have people with working with our CPA and a consulting firm. Recruiting: 30 years of experience and expertise both in recruitment firms and corporations.
