Water Centric (WC) is an international NGO. It works in partnership with local NGOs in developing countries to help provide water, sanitation and hygiene education to clusters of resource poor schools in selected high need areas. After developing a successful model for doing this work in a particular set of schools and context, WC and its local NGO partner quickly scale up the initiative to spread it to many more schools.WC connects local solutions with international funding and expertise – and quickly brings practical and sustainable projects to scale. WC does this by leveraging the power of its social and professional networks to first find effective local partners and then the appropriate solutions to their particular problems.
