   Named for her Father Eddie Mack Mayfield, Sr. who died due to an act of violence in rural Mississippi when Lorraine was only 10yrs old, Mayfield Elite Travel was created to carry on his name.Launched in 2014, Mayfield Elite Travel has become a fast growing privately-owned business specializing in vacation packages & cruises around the world. The company combines great prices with exceptional service, making it a true win for the client. What Lorraine says about creating her business \"I wanted to find a way for my passion for vacations to help others,\" she states.\"In the year leading up to creating Mayfield Elite Travel, I took 4 vacations! I believe vacations are important. We reconnect with our loved ones, grow friendships & learn new things. Everyone deserves a vacation, but not everyone knows how to plan a great one. I have been planning vacations for over 10yrs, but I had never thought about creating a business doing it. “I pondered long and hard over the name. I wanted the name to have meaning & be significant to me. 2014 was the 20th Anniversary of my father’s untimely death. Being that so much time had passed, I constantly wondered what I had done to make him proud. Now, don’t get me wrong, I had accomplished a lot - completed my bachelor’s degree, working on my Masters degree, successful jobs - but my father, Eddie Mayfield Sr, was a brilliant man. I mean truly BRILLIANT! He was valedictorian of his high school and had designed space ships for Rockwell back in the day! And yes, I know, I know, he would have been proud of me regardless, but I wanted something grander and what could be more grand than starting my own successful business! Instead of working for a great company, I could be CEO & President of one! “So Mayfield Elite Travel was born. I took my father’s last name, Mayfield, and the “E’s” & length of his first name, Eddie, to come up with Mayfield Elite Travel. Now I have no doubts, that I have made him proud!”Contact:
