ABOUT LORRAINE ANDERSON

I am an executive leader, strategic advisor, international lawyer, and former ambassador with more than twenty five years of experience leading teams in challenging environments across the public private spectrum in legal, regulatory, policy and programming spaces. I have a comprehensive scope of experience at the national and international levels, providing advice and services to governments, NGOs, and intergovernmental organizations in diplomacy, foreign policy, and international law. My passion is using transformational leadership to build and lead effective, diverse, and inclusive teams to enhance human rights, equity, peace, justice, and the rule of law. Being a natural leader, an effective negotiator and collaborator, I excel in environments that allow me to build sustainable partnerships across a diverse group of interlocutors, develop common strategic goals and lead multisectoral teams to achieve measurable results that have a positive impact. I have demonstrated strengths in strategic planning, establishing priorities and managing government, non-profit, and multilateral projects, and programmes with a strong track record of success in organizational governance.
