We don’t start with software. We start with how projects really get built.After more than 30 years delivering complex capital and linear infrastructure projects, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat itself across the industry. Too often, project delivery is led by tools rather than experience, with platforms dictating process instead of supporting it. The result is a backwards model where real project management judgment is forced to adapt after the fact.Petroglyph Projects inverts the model. My background - and largely that of the people we hire - is not in selling software. It’s in living inside projects, where schedules break, risk compounds quietly, and accountability erodes between planning rooms and the field. That experience shapes everything we do. We begin with disciplined project management, clear governance, and execution reality, then deploy, integrate, and configure best-in-class software solutions to support those fundamentals - not replace them. In real-world project delivery, software is a critical tool. But tools only create value when they are guided by experienced leadership that understands how projects actually fail and how they succeed.
