I’ve spent more than 25 years working across industry, the public sphere, and government. Mostly in mining and always with people at the heart of it. My career spans community engagement, social performance (before we called it that), public affairs, communications, government relations, and political advocacy. Along the way, I’ve run campaigns, managed PACs, navigated permitting challenges, built strong partnerships, and spoken to just about every kind of audience, from kindergarten classrooms to Capitol Hill. I care deeply about how people connect with the places and industries that shape their lives. I believe in clear communication, straight talk, and showing up. I’ve led teams, served on boards, managed budgets, dealt with crises, built coalitions, and guided organizations through change. Always with an eye toward doing meaningful work that lasts. Mining is essential to modern life. I’m proud to be a mining evangelist, working to strengthen relationships with communities, address environmental and cultural concerns, and help ensure that the industry remains responsible and sustainable.
