In this position, I co-manage a team of HIM analysts through Epic Revenue cycle implementations and go-lives for 11 hospitals in the UMMS system. During my five-year tenure, I have built and optimized for Coding and Abstracting, Bridges, Midas Integration, 3M HDM integration and Chart Tracking for these 11 hospitals. I mentor a young team of analysts to be proficient at build and support of the Epic systems. I also acted in the capacity of their manager for a 4 month span of time. I support and provide troubleshooting services to the central business office on HB functionality on a regular basis. • Integral resource in build, testing, troubleshooting, cross- team collaboration and go-live support for EPIC Coding & Abstracting, Chart Tracking, and 3M HDM/CRS • Built system for dual coding and then for ICD-10 transition • Customized bi-directional coding interfaces for integration with 3M products and MIDAS • Worked with Clarity and FTP teams to develop batch Provider interfaces from EPIC to 3M HDM • Mentored FTE Analysts to proficiency • Guided team through review, build, and implementation of all Nova notes for double upgrade project to Epic 2015 then 2017 and most recently Epic 2019 • Collaborated with Hospital Billing, Claims, ASAP, Security, Reporting, and many other teams to develop solutions to cross team issues. • Created standardized build materials and mentored on the build for the implementation of the next 4 facilities in the system. • Guided team through review and build plan for all Nova notes for upgrades. • Analyzed and gave feedback on the implementation of LOA functionality. • Build Revenue Guardian Checks as needed
