ABOUT LORNA DOGGETT

I am a Partner of Eversheds Sutherland. My practice is within the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy global practice of the firm. I advise on regulatory AI. With my team I advise clients across all sectors on the fullest range of data privacy and regulatory AI compliance issues. On the data privacy side this includes containment and reporting of personal data breaches, data privacy in large scale multi-jurisdictional outsourcings, M&A, regulatory investigations, cross border data transfers in global groups, direct marketing and exercise of GDPR rights in the context of employee grievances and customer related complaints. A key element of my specialism is the application of GDPR to the financial institutions sector and pensions and the interplay between data privacy law and the other regulatory regimes relevant to banks, firms and pension trustees. The Eversheds Sutherland Global Cybersecurity and Data Privacy practice operates from our offices in the UK, USA, the Middle East and Asia. We provide coverage in multiple jurisdictions. We are currently leading multiple projects for global clients, helping them to interpret new and existing data protection and cyber security laws, operationalising their application and implementing a strategy for compliance globally. Our team represents large corporates, financial institutions, SMEs, start up business and trustees of pension funds, amongst others. We have a strong team of lawyers dedicated to Cybersecurity and Data Privacy. We are ranked in Chambers and Legal 500 for our work in this field.
