   Serve as a strategic partner to the Dean and senior leadership – leading initiatives that advance institutional priorities, strengthen community engagement, and elevate the Yale School of the Environment’s (YSE) visibility locally and globally.• Coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and events, fostering relationships across the university to advance the initiatives of the Dean.• Represent YSE at major international climate convenings COP, CBD COP, Climate Week NYC) while managing on-the-ground logistics for Yale’s delegation, collaborating with internal and external partners.• Direct international receptions for 200+ Yale and YSE Alumni, students, and friends of the university to elevate and secure Yale’s presence in the climate space. • Manage YSE’s Commencement exercises which welcome nearly 1,200 celebrants, including friends, families, staff and faculty. • Organize high-profile policy events focused on bipartisan leadership, including a congressional visit to Yale-Myers Forest, and panels at Climate Week NY, showcasing YSE’s leadership in bridging science and policy.• Oversee and modernize YSE’s major institutional events, including Commencement, BIOMES Seminar Series, faculty retirement celebrations, and milestone anniversaries (e.g, YSE 125th).• Write and implement policies, procedures, and tools that ensure excellence in school-wide events, safety, and building management. • Oversee internal communications as editor of the weekly faculty and staff newsletter, This Week at YSE.• Lead special projects, including the Arts + Archives committee consisting of students and staff, and the BIOMES Seminar Series student committee. • Serve as the lead administrator at YSE for Yale Connect, staying up-to-date on new features, implementing new use cases and providing troubleshooting support.• Utilize AI-enabled tools to synthesize annual report data into executive summaries for the Dean, supporting strategic decision-making.
