ABOUT LORI NEWBURG
My first position in the Dietary Supplements Industry was in the QC Lab, and this has been a foundational asset in every subsequent role I\'ve taken on. In my 23 years with a large contract manufacturer, I went from being the President\'s assistant to building new departments as the company grew and the industry evolved. First it was Product Development and Technical Support, followed years later by Document Control. I have always enjoyed being behind the scenes making improvements to help the company grow and keep up with changing requirements, and help my coworkers do their tasks more efficiently. After relocating from NY to FL in late 2020, I was invited to join a consulting firm to contribute my expertise to a major international project. It was a privilege and honor to be held in such high regard by peers and colleagues around the globe, and I learned some new skills along the way. I continue to freelance consult when opportunities arise, but I’m back in the building seat once again at One Innovation Labs working alongside the founder (who\'s an old friend). I\'m expecting this to be my last ‘home away from home’ till I either retire or win the Mega Millions. In the meantime, as I am fond of saying, everything - even commuting - is better with Sunshine and Palm Trees!
