With a depth of global experience in law, business, and compliance across the life sciences field, I am a motivated leader driven by a passion for supporting the discovery, development, and commercialization of life-saving treatments in the neuroscience, immunology, and oncology space. I bring over 2 decades of practice across a range of business and legal services including contracting, licensing, intellectual property, technology, clinical trials, research collaborations, compliance, commercial leases, vendor relations, diligence and financial audit support, and white-collar investigation prosecutions. A particular area of interest is understanding the evolving role of AI in the drug discovery and regulatory landscape.Working collaboratively with managers, executives, and corporate officers, I provide legal advice with a mindset of understanding opportunities, risks, and the impact of decisions across the business. Building positive, collaborative relationships based on trust and ethics is of the utmost importance in my work.Applying my training in U.S, Latin American, and International Law, my business leadership experience with a healthcare outcomes research group, my award-winning prosecutorial experience at the federal and local levels, and my in-house role with a key player in biopharmaceutical innovation, I am a results-driven, detail-oriented professional who is fearless about taking on new projects, engaging in strategic problem-solving, and working hands-on to address complex, novel issues. A philomath by nature, I strive to deepen my understanding and learning across a range of legal, business, and scientific topics. I am also intentional about my personal growth and development, and I bring years of mindfulness training into my professional practice.
