About Lori Meads
As President /CEO, I have acquired many skills over my last 30 years that have helped me excel in my various positions at the Bank. I am a self-motivator and possess strong organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on detail. In my position as EVP/COO, I am responsible for all the day-to-day operational activities of the Bank with regards to planning, organizing and strategic policies. I oversee all operational aspects of the Bank\'s activities and ensure that we operate in a safe and profitable manner reporting to the Board of Corporations, The Board of Trustees, our employees and our customers. I supervise and work closely with management to ensure the overall operational effectiveness, sustainability and success of the Bank. I ensure that the employees deliver the highest level of customer service; and are in compliance with Bank policies, regulatory procedures and internal processes. I work in concert with Human Resources by sharing supervisory duties of the employees and coordinate for coverage in all areas of the Bank as needed. I have acquired strong leadership qualities and developed the ability to work very well in an independent setting as well as in a team environment. I perform my duties with little supervision and actively seek out more productive solutions to help create a more efficient work environment for my employees. In 1992, Seamen’s Bank had an asset size of 105 million and 34 employees when I came on board and now we are at an asset size of over 500 million with 75 employees and I could not be prouder to be part of such a wonderful organization.
