About Lori Markham
Experienced public safety leader with a strong background in emergency communications and fire service operations. Currently serving as Executive Director of Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC) since 2019, following over a decade with the City of Spokane Fire Department. Lori began her career as a Fire Dispatcher and advanced through several leadership roles, including Acting Division Chief.She is a former instructor with the Washington State Criminal Justice Commission, where she spent 11 years training and mentoring Telecommunicators across the region. Lori holds a B.S. in Communications from Eastern Washington University and an M.S. in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. She is passionate about service, leadership, and workforce development in the 911 community.
