   I serve as the Spanish and Music teacher for grades 9 through 12. I lead instruction in Spanish I and II using an immersive, student-centered approach designed to foster language acquisition, cultural understanding, and communicative fluency. In addition, I direct the middle and high school music program, encouraging vocal & instrumental growth, teamwork, and musical expression.Key responsibilities include:Designing and delivering full-immersion Spanish lessons aligned with ACTFL proficiency standards, tailored to both middle and high school learners.Incorporating interactive learning strategies including games, real-life scenarios, Bible-based content, and project-based assessments.Cultivating student confidence and performance in Spanish speaking, reading, writing, and listening.Directing the school’s 9–12 grade Music program, selecting repertoire appropriate for developing voices and instruments, and preparing students for school performances.Collaborating with faculty and administration to support students’ spiritual, academic, and artistic growth.Creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that reflects Christian values and encourages personal excellence.
