ABOUT LORI HERNACKI
With passion, empathy, and genuine care for the wellbeing of staff, I am proud of my decades-long career as an HR Professional, culminating in my Director of Human Resources position at The Employment Law Group. In my time I have built up and scaled the entire HR Department, implemented wide ranging benefits programs, and greatly impacted employee morale and retention. My highlights so far have included eliminating the need (and exorbitant costs) for external legal recruiters, levering technology to deliver performance appraisals, and keeping the entire organization afloat during COVID by creating rapid remote work infrastructure and innovative recruiting strategies. My success is built on several key traits that have shaped my unique approach to HR leadership. Described as the \"heart\" of my current firm, my collaborative strategic thinking allows me to easily coordinate with top leadership, creating new roles, strategies, and protocols to proactively identify and address challenges. Taking a 360-view of the organization, I identify and anticipate needs based on changes in different parts of the company as they evolve. I also thrive in hands-on roles, willingly jumping in to address crucial but overlooked tasks and coaching employee performance. As Sir Richard Branson wisely said,\"Train people well enough so they can leave. Treat them well enough so they don\'t want to.\" This philosophy underscores my commitment to fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated to contribute their best. I’m now seeking a dynamic new HR leadership position where I may leverage my accrued skills and experience to keep my finger on the pulse of staffing needs and how best to deliver for them. Let\'s connect and explore ways to elevate your organization\'s human capital strategy and cultivate a thriving workplace culture!
