About Lori G.

We need to know the effects of various designs, such as the mechanical effects of different shapes, the practical implications, the ergonomics involved, the costs and processing methods, and so on. This knowledge cannot be acquired in a single day, but must be integrated and utilized in a holistic manner. It is essential to have a rich imagination, creativity and foresight, which is a major difference between interior designers and engineers. Engineering design using the calculation method or analogy method, the nature of the work is mainly to improve, perfect rather than innovation; modeling design is very much about originality and ingenuity, the design element is the ever-changing lines and surfaces, rather than rigorous, cumbersome data,\"analogical\" out of the modeling design is unlikely to be excellent. Simply put, it is the level of drawing, and furthermore, it is the level of aesthetics and aesthetics. It is certain that there is not a single interior designer in the world who does not know how to draw, and it goes without saying that \"drawing is the language of the designer\". Although there are other ways to express design (e.g. computers), pen and paper is still the simplest, most direct and fastest way. In fact, although computers and models can be used to express ideas in a more comprehensive way, the most important process of visualization and refinement is carried out mostly by simple paper and pen. Including oil clay modeling manual and computer design software application skills and so on. Of course, these skills need professional training, there is no natural craftsman, but a strong hands-on ability is necessary. The design must take into account the production (cost) and market (customer\'s taste, cultural background, environment and climate, etc.). A design that is out of touch with the market will not sell well, and neither will an interior designer. Professional interior designers must be educated, practiced and examined to obtain formal qualifications, and their job is to improve the function and quality of living in interior spaces
