For more than 25 years I have been writing a weekly family humor newspaper column. Columnist years are like dog years, so really it\'s more like 175 years. Presently, my column is distributed to more than 400 newspapers and media outlets throughout the U.S. and Canada by Tribune News Service. I am the author of six books including \"I Was a Better Mother Before I Had Kids,\"\"The Death of Common Sense\" and my latest,\"What Happens at Grandma\'s Stays at Grandma\'s.\" I speak at author/lecture series, civic events, libraries, churches and corporate events looking for humor and encouragement. Current talks include \"The Lighter Side of Aging\"(fun for any age!) and \"The Death of Common Sense and How to Revive It.\" All presentations are tailored to the audience and goals of the event planners.
