ABOUT LORI ABRAMOWITZ

I am a relationship builder, problem solver and people connector. I thrive in fast-paced environments. Never afraid to take on a new role, I have reinvented myself throughout my career in multiple industries and roles. I am adaptable, a quick learner, and able to leverage my previous experience to navigate new environments and challenges. Whether it is when interviewing candidates or when speaking with clients, I am known for the way I make conversations comfortable for people, for my honesty and integrity, as well as for being able to meet challenges head on… and for my laugh. I have experience working for organizations in the public sector, non-profit, private sector, and for a global, publicly traded company. In my most recent role in the learning and development sector, I was responsible for resource management and operations activities across Canada. Building up a network of resources, interviewing and getting to know hundreds of instructional designers, project managers and multimedia developers, matching project needs with the right skillsets, and seeing people thrive has been most rewarding. I have developed the ability to see the potential in people and put them in the right opportunities to succeed. Sourcing, placing, and onboarding the right people contributed to project success, and I was glad to have played a key role in that.
