ABOUT LORI FRANK
I have had the honour of being invited to the table in non-profits, community organizations, Indigenous communities, businesses, family homes, schools and government offices. Clients seek me out when they are looking for someone to bring a high level of empathy, understanding, knowledge, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. It is not a role I take lightly and I am humbled by what I continue to learn from others. It is this experience of working with diverse individuals and groups that I bring with me to conflict management consulting, mediation and coaching. I use an interest-based and facilitative model for mediation that focuses on moving forward from the present to get to an agreed upon, sustainable outcome. I did my mediation training at the Justice Institute of BC and previous to that completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at McMaster University. I am a Registered Roster Member (RRM) on both the Mediate BC Civil Roster and Family Roster. I hold the designation of Qualified Mediator with ADRBC. I enjoy giving back to my community. I was involved with the Victoria Society for Children with Autism as both a board member and President. I am a founding member of 100+ Women Who Care Victoria, an organization that has fundraised and donated over annually for charities in Greater Victoria. Raised in Ontario, I moved to Victoria over 20 years ago. The coast is now my home and I can\'t imagine living anywhere else. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends in this beautiful little part of the world. I am grateful to live and work as a guest on the unceded territory of the Malahat, Tsawout, Tsartlip, and Tseycum Nations.
