About Loretta Umeonaku
With 8+ years of experience in the energy sector, I began my career in the prestigious Baker Hughes Field Engineering Program and quickly advanced to Senior Drilling Field Engineer, leading teams across deepwater, offshore, and land operations. My commitment to innovation and sustainability led me to pioneer Baker Hughes’ Remote Operations Centre in Sub-Saharan Africa where I oversaw end-to-end drilling operations driving digitally enabled workflows, data driven analytics and improved operational efficiency while mentoring emerging engineers. I later transitioned into a project delivery role, where I managed complex upstream energy projects and cross-functional teams, delivering operational excellence and exceeding client expectations.I completed my MBA at Rice Business, where I served as a Forte Fellow, CDO Student Ambassador, and VP of Operations for the Rice Business Women’s Association and Social Chair for Black Business Students, passionate about empowering peers and building inclusive networks.Currently I serve as a Digital Project Manager-Analytics & Transformation at ADM, leading the deployment of digital solutions across multiple manufacturing sites and enabling frontline teams with real-time visibility into operational performance and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
