Planet Grants | Fueling Innovation for a Sustainable FutureI started Planet Grants to make meaningful change happen every day. Sometimes, through one funded idea, one community program, or one well-written proposal at a time. My work is driven by a simple belief: if we can move the needle even a little for people, communities, or the planet, it’s worth doing thoughtfully, responsibly, and with care.By day, I’m usually hunched over my laptop, turning big ideas into fundable realities and helping organizations secure the resources they need to do good work sustainably. What really gets me out of bed is funding the breakthroughs that actually move the needle.From methane-reducing energy technologies and carbon sequestration to autonomous systems for ocean monitoring, EdTech and MedTech improving outcomes, and workforce programs that create green jobs while lifting communities out of poverty. Give me a client working in childhood education, salmon restoration, animal welfare, marine conservation, or empowering the next generation of environmental stewards, and I’m fully invested. To date, Planet Grants has helped secure over $37 million for mission-driven organizations, including $15M in mental health support,$9M in CA Clean Energy development, a $7.5M NSF grant for autonomous technology education,$500K for international development across Sudan and Uganda, and $500K for Redwood forest conservation. But the numbers that matter most aren’t just on a spreadsheet- They’re the 40+ dyslexic kids learning to read - 70+ formerly incarcerated adults building new careers- 150+ adults getting SUD treatment- The coral reefs protected from habitat degradation - Tons of plastic pollution and carbon being kept out of our atmosphereWhenever I can sneak away, you’ll find me recharging in nature, hiking Pacific Northwest trails, paddleboarding with my corgi Marshall and my husband in tow, hunting down farm-to-table foodie spots, or being an unapologetic beach bum near any body of water that will have me.Because changing the world—whether in big wins or small doses—works best when you can show up fully, consistently, and with intention.Let\'s connect if you\'re working on: Marine and coastal conservation Climate tech, Ed Tech, Med Tech, or Clean energy Sustainable materials, circular economy innovations, plastic pollution reduction Workforce development Agriculture, poverty alleviation, and International development Childhood literacyBecause the future we need won\'t fund itself—but together, we can make it happen.
