ABOUT LORETTA B.
I have 15 years of experience managing and supporting U.S. domestic and international climate change and energy policy projects. Currently, I serve as the Activity Director for Ecodit\'s USAID Power Africa Data and Technical Support Activity. In a previous position at Abt Associates, I was a Project Management Officer for the USAID Mongolia Energy Governance Activity, the Director of Abt Associates\' Environment and Energy Market Center, and an Activity Manager on the USAID CEADIR project. As a CEADIR Activity Manager, I managed expert consultants, to develop best practice papers on key USAID energy topics for policy makers, such as battery storage, RE auctions, and distributed energy resources. In addition, I supported energy finance capacity building to banks in West Africa on clean energy lending tools, and delivered in-country training to stakeholders on climate adaptation planning in Kazakhstan and Low Emissions Development Strategies in Ukraine and Guatemala. I also have extensive experience in business development, managing, leading, writing, and developing proposals in response to USAID and other large international donor RFPs.
