I teach beginning through advanced levels of ceramics for adults, teens and elementary age children. The curriculum techniques include hand-building, glazing and throwing on the potter\'s wheel using high-fire clay. I teach safety protocols, and prepare lesson plans in weekly, eight to ten week quarters. In the evenings and weekends, I share my love of creating pottery on the wheel with adults at a local community rec center. The class is an introduction to the potter\'s wheel, with emphasis on clay preparation, centering, firing and glazing.Try something new, expand your brain and forget about everything for a few hours.
