This position has provided me with a great deal of experience in show design and crew management while also further cultivating my console knowledge, equipment maintenance/repair skills, and interpersonal skills. My duties include- maintaining an intricate knowledge of BPAC audio inventory, mixing consoles, PA systems (fixed and portable), and patch/paging systems- providing console and Knight Theatre patch bay consultation as System Engineer for all shows that provide an engineer while utilizing BPAC audio inventory- cultivating a positive working relationship with BPAC House Personnel, resident clients and local annual rental clients- effectively communicating ideas regarding maintenance, storage, and long term sustainability of Knight Theatre Inventory with BPAC House Personnel - utilizing and properly managing IATSE provided departmental labor to fulfill all client audio needs in an efficient and safe fashion- meeting and exceeding client expectations for events requiring front of house PA or onstage monitor mixing by House Audio Engineer- staying abreast of audio industry knowledge and application in the theatre world including but not limited to consoles, digital networking, microphones, PA systems, wireless systems, and rigging safetyNotable shows mixed include: An Evening with Martin Short, BB King at The Knight Theatre, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra’s Benny Goodman Tribute and Winter Dance Party, Colin Quinn’s Long Story Short, MLK Jr. Legacy Concert, Peter Yarrow and Billy Jonas, and Travis Tritt Solo Acoustic Performance
