About Lorenzo Falciani

I have been hooked on the fascinating field of cyber security since I was 11 years old. In my teenage years it was my hobby, then it became my subject of study, and finally after college my dream of making it my full time profession became true. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work and contribute on some of the most interesting security challenges, including securing satellite constellations, U.S. National Icons and, with PwC, helping our clients, both Private Equity firms and enterprises, through their Mergers, Acquisitions, and Separations journeys. I have loving memories of the \'keyboard days\' when the adrenaline rush of \'breaking in\' was the best perk, and less fun memories of trying to figure out how to right size a security controls stack with limited budget. I am now spending most of my time sharing my experience with clients and teams, making Deals and digital transformations as painless as possible, secure, and as predictable as possible. I really thrive in the complexity of M&A deals, taking energy from it, and can probably now count this as a passion as much as cyber security. Beyond the office, I have been a student and practitioner of the art of bonsai for the past 20 years, and for half of that time a husband and father. It is my family, and my plants, that bring me joy, balance, calmness, and give me the most important lens through which conduct my life and lead my work.
