I lead Baker Hughes, an energy technology company working at the intersection of energy and industry to help meet the world’s growing demand for reliable, affordable, and increasingly lower-carbon energy. At Baker Hughes, we talk about The Energy Equation™ – the interdependence between the industrial outcomes society demands, and the energy sources the world requires to meet these demands. Rewriting this equation requires technology, collaboration, and a pragmatic approach to delivering energy at the scale the world needs. Our teams work across the energy value chain to help customers improve efficiency, strengthen reliability, and lower emissions. From digital technologies and advanced equipment to new energy solutions, we focus on connecting energy and industrial systems to deliver real-world impact. I have spent more than 25 years in the energy industry am fortunate to have worked and lived around the world. I began my career in finance at GE and held leadership roles across several divisions, eventually leading the GE Oil & Gas business as it merged with Baker Hughes in 2017. I remain deeply optimistic about the future of energy. The challenges are significant, but so is the opportunity to apply technology, expertise, and partnership to build stronger, more resilient energy systems. Outside Baker Hughes, I serve on the Board of Iveco Group N.V. and previously served on the Board of C3.ai. I also chair participate in several global organizations, including the World Economic Forum where I sit on their Oil & Gas Governor Community and their Transitioning Industrial Clusters SteerCo. Originally from Tuscany, I graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in business and economics. I use LinkedIn to share perspectives on the energy and industrial sectors, connect with partners and colleagues across the industry, and engage in conversations about the future of energy. I am always open to your ideas on how I can use this platform for the better, and I do rely on a team to help me on a regular basis.
