The Project Manager reports to the Project Director and ensures that the cost, time, quality, health and safety objectives set for the phase/activities assigned are achieved, in order to meet the contractual obligations and objectives set by the Business Unit and help achieve the overall objectives for the project managed by the Project Director. Duties include- representing, insofar as within remit, the Company with Clients, Licensors; Partners and Subcontractors, and also managing all the contractual aspects- ensuring the review of contractual documents- defining, based on the instructions of the Project Director and in accordance with the project’s overall objectives and strategies, the strategies for the phase/activities assigned (Project Execution Plan, Quality Plans, Procurement and Contracting Plan, Economic Risk Plan, Project Coordination and HSE plans) and supervising the planning and scheduling of activities- ensuring time and cost control activities, taking the necessary actions to achieve the time and mark-up targets established for the assigned phase/activities- supervising project activities for aspects pertaining to quality, health, safety and environmental protection, through project organization positions and for the assigned phase/activities- assisting with the preparation of project progress reports, including the financial budget, for the Business Unit- ensuring, insofar as within remit, periodical project feedback through the defined tools and issuing the project Final Report, also for design validation purposes- ensuring implementation of the risk and opportunity and knowledge management methodology and tools- supervising head office design and procurement activities through the project organization positions- ensuring, through the project positions, the necessary interface and handover activities with regard to the Organizations involved in implementing the project.
