ABOUT LORENZO FORNASARI

Functional manager in start-up pharma companies, with responsibilities on Budget control, Intellectual Property management, Grant Office, Purchase Office, Statistical data analysis. Used to work in any kind of situation (long experience of field work with contemporary data management and reporting from alpine habitats of the Stelvio National Park to the Negev Desert in Israel). Organisation and management of working groups (even very large) allowed me to reach a strong personal charisma and the capability to motivate and make the most of myself and coworkers. My varied professional experience endowed me with a very good ability to communicate both in written and verbal ways, even within multisciplinary environments. My skill in frontal communication has been improved by 100 public lectures and some courses on applications of statistical techniques, given at the Milan University (Quantitative ornithology), Pavia University (Applied zoology) and in the private companies Consulenze Ambientali SpA (Statistics for environmental data analysis) and DAC srl (Statistics for beginners in pharma research). My recent experiences as President of the association FaunaViva allowed me to develop the capability to plan and write multidisciplinary research projects, and complex communication and dissemination plans.
