ABOUT LORENZO CONTRERAS

I am a fourth year Operations Management student at the University of Alberta School of Business. Aiming to complete both the Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Certificate in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies, I strive to improve my skills academically, and professionally. I was employed as a Student Community and Engagement intern for the Alberta School of Business where I specialized in logistics for student engagement events through data analysis, supply management, and event execution. Furthermore, I acted as Faculty Associate Deputy Returning Officer for the Business Students Association where I conducted elections and referendums while ensuring adherence to university policies. Additionally, I was employed at RoBIM Technologies, where I specialized in market research, data analysis, and business analytics. My role involved gathering industry insights, analyzing market trends, and leveraging data-driven strategies to support decision-making and business growth. With a strong foundation in operations management and a passion for technology-driven solutions, I thrive in dynamic environments that require critical thinking and problem-solving. In the past, I have participated in my local community through volunteering in the St. Albert Children\'s Festival and Snowflake Festival where I coordinated community events, handled public communications, and hosted introductions for various presenters. Additionally, I have served as a high school tutor both for Connect Tutoring, and individually.
