My tasks and responsibilities can be listed as follow: Assist in trade execution and management of Fixed Income SMAs, including new portfolio investments, cash reinvestment processes, and special client request handling.I also conduct in-depth research and analysis on the credit quality of companies, including creating tear-sheets and making formal buy/hold/sellrecommendations to the Credit Committee, and help track these recommendations.Provide support to Portfolio Managers in managing the risk of the portfolios (credit, duration, concentration, liquidity, industry, special exposure requests, etc.).Communicate with clients regarding withdrawals, investment needs, and portfolio performanceAid in documenting transactions and learn about settlement processes with custodians and brokers.Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the Fixed Income Committee and clients.
