Its founder, Lorene Nagata, was one of the first legal recruiters to enter the Canadian market and, since then, clients have returned to NagataConnex repeatedly to fill different roles in their businesses and have come to trust NagataConnex’s judgment and advice. NagataConnex has extensive experience recruiting for some of the world’s largest and best-known law firms and corporations. The Firm has successfully placed candidates into all levels of position, from General Counsel to Junior Legal Counsel, and into roles as varied as Corporate Development, Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs. In some cases, the Firm has placed whole legal departments. Virtually every client has been referred to NagataConnex by other clients and return each time they require a further lawyer. It is for this reason that in addition to Lorene\'s LL.B, she has a B.A. in Psychology and has taken a number of courses in career counseling and planning and psychometric testing. Because of this attention to \'fit\', the candidates NagataConnex places tend to stay in their positions long term. NagataConnex only takes on a limited number of campaigns at any one time so the recruiters can give their full attention to each assignment.
