About Lorena Kuri

As Head of Diversity Strategy for R&D at Bristol-Myers Squibb, I lead the Diversity in Clinical Trials efforts, so clinical trials patient participants are more reflective of the real world. My passion to address Health Equity encouraged me to partner with amazing minds and create a non-profit that supports Sexual and Gender Minorities. In March 2023 I became a founder and Chief Strategy and Development officer for SGM Alliance. I have 15+ years of experience in pharma, including several commercial roles at Novartis, where I also served as the Diversity and Inclusion Lead for Latin America and Canada. Before that, I spent time in the FCMG industry in Mexico with PepsiCo and Danone. I have a Masters in Human Capital from Universidad Anáhuac, a DEI Certificate from Cornell, and a BA in International Business from Tec de Monterrey. I\'m fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and. love to sing. I am an inclusion advocate who strives to help others and make a positive impact around the world.
