About Lorena Vegas
I am a proud Latina finishing my senior year at the University of Washington, majoring in Human Resources and pursuing my passion for immigration law. As a daughter of immigrant teachers, I’ve developed a deep commitment to people and justice, which has strongly guided my ambitions.At UW, I lead as President of SHRM, Tournament Coordinator and Team Captain for Mock Trial, and a Team Lead for tour guides in the Campus Visit Program. These experiences strengthen my skills in leadership and community-building, while reinforcing my belief in the power of education to serve others.I aim to bring this mission into my future by combining my HR background with a career in immigration law. My goal is not only to create opportunities for others but also to ensure they have the freedom and support to pursue their dreams on their own terms.
