ABOUT LORENA STELLA MARTINI
I am a reliable, determined, goal-oriented and fast-learning young professional with a solid 8+ years’ experience in research & analysis and project management within think tanks and NGOs, focusing on the MENA region and on European/Italian foreign policy projection, towards the Mediterranean & beyond.In my current position, I delve into the link between geopolitics and foreign policy on one hand, and energy transition, energy security and climate change on the other.I hold a Double Master\'s Degree in Comparative Analysis of Mediterranean Societies (Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique, Morocco / University of Turin) and a Master in Middle Eastern Studies (ASERI, Milan). I fluently speak English, French, Arabic and Spanish, plus my native Italian.My research work mainly revolves around MENA geopolitics and sociopolitical dynamics, with a strong interest in human rights and gender issues.From a geographical point of view, in my latest publications I have focused on North Africa (namely Morocco) as well as Iraq (a country whose dynamics I have been following since my first Master’s thesis).
