About Lorena Maher
As a proud Arts & Letters student at Notre Dame, I\'m dedicated to learning through experience. As the inaugural editor of the Beyond the Dome Marketing & Branding Team Editor, a Research Assistant for the Lab for AI for Teaching & Learning on campus, and as an avid student and friend, I\'ve involved myself with anything and everything possible on campus so I can learn while I have the resources available to met at the University of Notre Dame. As an Applied Mathematics and Computational Statistics supplementary major, I love math because it supplements the qualitative with fact-driven analytics. A primary Economics major has taught me about the puzzles that underlie both everyday decisions and the world as a whole. The ability to study languages, classics, theology and philosophy, and applied electives during my time at Notre Dame have contributed towards my holistic development as a student but more importantly, as a person. As the A&L mantra goes: I want to walk the earth excited to study everything & do anything.
