My name is Lorena Munoz and I am based in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, California. I graduated from the UCLA Anderson School of Management where I had the privilege of earning my MBA. Murad, Inc. is a skincare and beauty products brand founded by Dr. Howard Murad in 1989. We provide high quality skin care products that meet the need for healthy and beautiful skin. murad is known for its scientific research and innovative technology that has earned the trust and recognition of consumers around the world. Our mission is to improve and protect the health of people\'s skin by providing effective skin care solutions. As a member of Murad\'s Board of Directors, my job responsibilities include participating in strategic planning and decision-making to provide guidance and support for the long-term development and growth of the company. I am responsible for recording and following up on the agendas, discussions and decisions of board meetings and overseeing their implementation. I also participate in discussions and voting on important decisions and provide strategic guidance and advice to help the company optimize its operations and improve its performance. In the area of corporate governance and compliance, I oversee the company\'s compliance matters and ensure that the company complies with laws, regulations and ethical standards. In addition, I review and approve the Company\'s budget and financial plans and monitor financial performance. I also represent the company in communications and interactions with shareholders and stakeholders, and attend key events and meetings.
