Project Specialist is a key function in the Professional Services organization which focuses on providing project financial and administrative support to the business unit project managers.• Responsible for all project setup activities. This includes working with the appropriate project manager in the gathering of information for setting-up of work breakdown structures in timesheet and project accounting systems.• Work with Project and Operations managers during a project to make available reports and/or develop new reports when necessary for the successful execution of projects.• Help analyze financial trends in projects relative to estimated hours versus actuals, budgeted dollars versus actual cost, forecast hours and revenue, etc. Flag any problem areas to the attention of the project manager. Facilitate project re-estimates as submitted by project managers.• Interface with personnel in finance as required to resolve financial conflicts or issues in projects including invoicing and collections.• Responsible for management of timesheet processing on a project basis. Works closely with project managers and engineers to ensure the accurate entry of timesheets and expenses, responding to information requests from others, running ad-hoc reports within timesheet system
