Independent cardiac scanning and reporting within 40-45 minutes (in accordance to departmental protocols and the British Society of Echocardiography standards and acting appropriately in the event of significant adverse findings)- Perform bedside scans on inpatients- Perform and manage Outpatient echo clinics independently- Setup and prepared everything for TOEs, assist the Cardiologist during the test, obtain images and measurements and disinfect everything after- Record Inpatients Departmental audit- Check the resuscitation Trolley and all the equipment from your work station- Setup the work station before each patient and clean it after- Download studies from echo machines and delete them after- Participate in Weekly Echo meetings which includes review interesting scans with colleagues, doing presentations and updates- Support colleagues in the elaboration of appraisal, risk assessments and competency tools- Fit and manage Outpatient and Inpatient Heart Monitor (Holter, Blood Pressure and R-Test) clinics independently- Perform and manage Outpatient ECG clinics independently (according to ASCST guidelines)- Send test results to GPs and Consultants- Ensure departmental stock levels are maintained- Plan and prioritize own workload- Used ultrasound equipment: GE Vivid E95, GE Vivid Q, Philips Epic, Philips IE33 and Philips CX50.
