ABOUT LOREN DICKENS
I am NBIS certified to be a Bridge Inspection Program Manager and Team Leader with a SPRAT/IRATA Level 1 certification. I am a certified Part 107, sUAS pilot through the FAA. As an energetic, competitive leader, I am constantly looking for innovative procedures and methods to improve bridge inspections and report writing with the goal of reducing costs for clients. I am a detail-oriented engineer striving to deliver thorough, high quality inspections and inspection reports. I have 16 years of experience specializing in in-service bridge inspections across the U.S. for structures of all sizes ranging from 20-foot long culverts up to complex Mississippi River crossings. Also experienced in design, load rating and construction observation. Bridge inspection experience includes routine, in-depth and fracture-critical inspections as a certified team leader including associated report writing for highway and rail bridges. Design experience includes design calculations and plan checking for bridge structures of varying types and scale including signature highway structures, complex geometry highway interchanges and rail bridges.My duties include project management and business development. I am currently a licensed PE in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Iowa.
