RI, Producer and Designer for the project’s creative development and pre-opening - Responsible for the development and management of all assigned project-related wardrobe, costumes, walk around characters and adjacent elements. Acts as the point of contact on assigned projects, supervising any assigned staff and their workloads, vendors and consultants and determines strategies ensuring the successful completion of assignments through all aspects of design and production from original concept through final installation- Oversee the teams handling of daily costume issuing and maintenance. Ensuring the successful operation of show quality, Team Member satisfaction, cleanliness, facility upkeep, safety, training, efficiency, and budgeting. Partnering both in and outside of the department with management counterparts- Develop new products designed for each seasonal overlay from a concept through fabrication to finished costumes ready for issue. Meet with stakeholders and get appropriate approvals to bring concept through all stages of viable costume/make-up design- Create from design costumes/make-up. Manage the processes of testing costume/make-up quality and durability. Produce final fittings and executive presentation for review and approval. Create style guides for each new design- Oversee design and fabrication. Write scopes of work. Manage the procurement of all products to ensure quality and design. Create and maintain relationships with vendors and manage the production schedule, budget and delivery. Manage competitive bid process. Source different fabrics and materials to ensure the most cost effective and comfortable costume items are obtained. Study industry trends and benchmark current and future products- Oversee the daily dress of Actors ensuring all costume and makeup application aligns with the standards set upon finalization of designs and IP approvals.
