I aim to deliver the company ethos of offering a first class service to our customer base by focusing on investing and developing in both our people and technology systems. In my role I am responsible for proposing and adapting business strategy, managing financial and operational performance and communicating to the Board of Directors and Shareholders. Key milestones- Annual sales turnover growth from £11.5m to +£30m (2012 to 2020)- Annual operating profit growth from £90k to +£2m (2012 to 2020)- Leading three successful regional competitor acquisitions (2014, 2016 and 2019)- Leading a digital transformation strategy in our business operations (Warehouse Management System, Voice Picking, Electronic Proof of Delivery, Nucleus Traceability System, Caterite Connect - a regional digital marketplace)- Adapting our B2B model to B2C in days; when faced with a loss of 85% of our trading customers due to the Coronavirus lockdown, Caterite reacted within 72 hours to allow the local and surrounding communities to trade with us in a Click and Collect environment. We opened accounts within 48 hours of launching the service, and have been able to keep the wheels of our business turning.
