Provide senior leadership for strategic policy development and implementation across British Columbia’s creative industries, including film, television, interactive digital media, music, and publishing. Advance multi‑year strategies, intergovernmental initiatives, and major funding programs that support cultural priorities, sector sustainability, and economic growth.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert advice to senior decision‑makers and Ministers, and oversee governance relationships with Crown agencies, including Knowledge Network.Lead stewardship of major public investments supporting the creative economy (e.g, management and alignment of the $7.5 million annual Amplify BC Fund with provincial priorities).Build and sustain collaborative partnerships across government, industry, and sector organizations to address barriers, enable innovation, and strengthen creative sector ecosystems.Lead and empower high‑performing teams, delivering outcomes through strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and evidence‑based decision‑making.
