ABOUT LOPA SARKAR

A certified Executive Coach by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council. I coach senior level executives for clients internationally and as a Life Coach help clients reach their personal and professional goals. As an arts professional I combine my skills in entrepreneurship, marketing, and strategic development with my love for the performing arts and education. I am the founder and Director of Divine Heritage Artistry - a Bollywood dance company showcasing cultural dance forms. I built the new Education and Outreach Program for Canada\'s largest theatre The Sony Centre For The Performing Arts (now Meridian Hall). As a member of the Advisory Committee I helped build Centennial College\'s new Dance Performance Diploma Program and joined the Faculty as a Professor of Culture and World Trends. Recently, I led the Innovation Department at the world famous conservatoire, The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, as the Head of Enterprise and then the Head of Innovation. While in the UK, I worked at London’s City Hall at the Mayor of London\'s offices. As the Senior Manager, Giving I managed the development of a new governance structure for the coordination and engagement with philanthropy and philanthropic contacts. I also helped grow a national business volunteering program supporting career development for young people and helping organizations build their Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
