I have a passion for helping people live complete lives. My career has been dedicated to creating and delivering solutions to help people manage their health. As the consumerism of healthcare comes to age, I strongly believe the future of our industry is to democratize healthcare by putting simple technology in consumers\' hands. Nobody strives to be a patient. We need to enable people to own their condition through technology, and not allow their health condition to own them. My most recent experience is in creating, leading, and growing a digital health startup in Pops. Pops was started to flip the healthcare model and enable people to manage their own condition through a simple technology platform. This is done through Mina, an AI virtual coach combined with the Rebel integrated glucose meter. I have also enjoyed working at a large corporation, helping to bring new implantable cardiac products to the market. I did this through leading, and developing people and large teams, in business units, product development, operations, regulatory, clinical, and quality. As a leader, I believe in four traits of success for everyone in the team:> Vision: everyone needs to understand where we need to go to be successful> Courage: each person needs to take initiative and persevere until the vision is met> Judgment: in reaching goals, appropriate judgment needs to be used> Authenticity: each of us needs to be true to yourself and good to those around you
