I lead a team of high performing data scientists at Kindred, an organization with a high degree of data and analytics maturity. Kindred is a top four business globally in its online B2C space, with 1600 employees, over £1 Billion in net revenues, and 1.8 million active customers. I have built up the data science team and successfully implemented machine learning driven use cases into new areas of the business. I am involved in migration of the data and analytics platform from on-premise big data infrastructure to AWS. I am also leading an initiative to advance our MLOps with a model deployment framework that includes monitoring, automated redeployment, and advanced A/B testing capabilities. My team has deployed advanced ML algorithms including deep learning and reinforcement learning, however we are always focused on solving the business problem with the most appropriate solution regardless of the approach\'s sophistication. The use cases are focused on enhancing the customer experience and supporting services with some examples being- Personalization- Customer propensity models- Cyber security- Anti-money laundering- Odds setting and risk management- Responsible Gambling models- Entity resolution.
