   1) Issue purchase orders and change orders that meet all the requirements based onResearch Foundation policy. Answer inquiries and work with campus andauxiliaries on payment and reconciliations.2) Quarterly review of open purchase orders to determine which orders should beclosed.3) Add and maintain suppliers to the supplier database. Run supplier names againstfederal debarment listing; work with AP manager to identify and screen all non-resident payees for proper tax withholding and reporting. Properly classifysuppliers for 1099 reporting.4) Manage the electronic A/P inbox and assign invoices and statements to the AP teamfor processing. Performs the day-to-day accounts payable in accordance withexisting Research Foundation policies and procedures and generally acceptedaccounting principles. Ensure compliance with OMB, CSU, State of California,and Federal spending policies, rules, and regulations.5) Research incomplete documentation received from vendors and/or ResearchFoundation customers for reconciliation and/or to fulfill requirements for properbackup documentation.6) Review and prepare monthly purchasing card uploads. Ensure that cardholders aresubmitting receipts in a timely manner.7) Provide training and assistance to AP specialists as needed.
